For the fourth consecutive year, Humane College has invited Tim Crum to lead shelter professionals from across the U.S. on a tour of various animal shelters throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland.  This is hands-on, immersive experience is a great way to see and learn first-hand from your counterparts in another country.  Past participants have enjoyed this experience so much that we continue to offer this trip annually.   You may also make new friends from other shelters here in the U.S. or from Ireland!

To take part in the 2019 study abroad program, all participants are required to pay a nonrefundable   $60 administrative fee ($50 if paid prior to November 1, 2018).   Any participant who voluntarily elects to cancel their trip after paying the administrative fee is not eligible for a refund.  No exceptions.

Each year since 2009, Humane College selects 12-18 cities throughout the United States to bring our workshop series to that region.  This saves you both the cost and time of having to travel to attend a training.

DISASTER RELIEF FUNDRAISING WORKSHOP
It’s said you can’t plan for a disaster. But really, you have to.

It’s officially hurricane season and the nonprofit animal shelters that have a plan in place are the ones most likely to get the donations when disaster strikes. In this workshop, we’ll focus on the basics that will make your emergency relief fundraising campaigns thrive.  We'll discuss:

direct mail campaigns, email camaigns, donation landing pages, Facebook pages and more!

Learn from an industry expert who has helped dozens of animal shelters raise millions of dollars for disaster relief from Hurricane Katrina & Rita to the wildlfires in California to the floods in the Midwest to the volcanic eruptions in Hawai'i to Hurricane Florence (most-recently).
